Heparin 5000IU Injection 5 ml belongs to a class of drugs called anticoagulants or blood thinners. Heparin 5000IU Injection 5 ml is primarily used to prevent and treat deep vein thrombosis (blood clots in leg veins), pulmonary embolism (blood clots in the lung), stroke, Transient ischaemic attack (TIA), and heart attacks.
If you are known to be allergic to Heparin 5000IU Injection 5 ml or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. It is not known whether Heparin 5000IU Injection 5 ml harms the baby or passes into breast milk in pregnancy and breastfeeding state.
